Every week comedian Yael Gavish talks with a comedian that has at some point been asked “Where Are You REALLY From?” Whether it's due to an accent, skin color, the outfit they are wearing or various other factors. Each conversation explores personal stories about travels, family life, cultural experiences and funny stories that have happened along the way. 50th episode special! It's Matt Kona! He's been doing comedy since 2009 and is also my husband, so this is the last one on one interview for a while due to the obvious pandemic, that you may be familiar with. Matt has not really been asked "Where are you REALLY From?" before but he has travelled around to multiple European countries just before and immediately after starting his comedy career. So listen as we debate what it truly means to "travel" and eventually he tells stories of being a roadie for punk bands, driving and sleeping in vans, many of which I have never heard.
