Soon after that, Kathryn was asked to represent the United States as ambassador to Austria by then President Bill Clinton. After serving for several years, the Halls returned to Napa Valley and set about establishing Hall Wines. Our guest, Mike Reynolds, was hired as founding winemaker and eventually became President of Hall Wines.
