We loved her book Welsh Witchcraft and knew we had to have her on to discuss all things Wales. This episode has all the pronunciation and etymology us English speakers need when approaching Welsh mythology and history and it features both hilarious and insightful conversation about the path to becoming a witch and how Mhara's passion for her home has colored her witchcraft throughout the years. She is a transgender woman who has been practicing witchcraft from a very young age, and her witchcraft videos on TikTok have more than a million views. Mhara is a celebrant and a tarot reader, and she runs moots, gatherings, and open rituals. She was featured in the BBC Wales documentary series Young, Welsh and Pretty Religious.
