EP: 10 How to Win at Anything - With Beatie Deutsch - "Marathon Mother"

Defying the Diagnosis with Dr. Azi Jankovic and Friends - A podcast by Dr. Azi Jankovic

When Beatie Deutsch signed up for her first marathon in October 2015, she wasn’t even a regular runner.

Over the next four months of training for this first race, it became clear to her that she had, as she explains ‘been giving the gift of running.’

She went on to place as the 6th woman to finish the Tel Aviv marathon in early 2016, and kept on running and training hard over the past three years since.

Today, she has placed first in major marathons. She's got her eyes set on running the marathon in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics (!!!) representing the nation of Israel.

The inspiration that has driven her is incredibly powerful, and the lessons she’s learned along her journey are poised to inspire anyone.

Listen to her speak about her running journey, her spiritual inspiration, her values, dignity, being a mother of five young children, mindful present moment awareness, and so much more.
