Shakespeare's Globe

It is 15 years since a replica of Shakespeare's Globe theatre was first opened in London.Built on the banks of the Thames it stands almost exactly where the original 17th Century building had been.It came into being because of the passion of an American actor, Sam Wanamaker.Photo: The Globe Theatre.
