Eden Alene "Set Me Free" | Israel Eurovision 2021 Interview

Israel's own Eden Alene tells us about her epic revamp of her Eurovision 2021 song "Set Me Free". "The songwriters and I thought the version chosen in Israel was good, but it's not enough for the real competition. You hear the songs and it's not good enough. We need to make it better." She says they headed to a studio in Haifa and recorded daily from four in the afternoon until 5 in the morning non-stop until they had the song they wanted. "It's one of the greatest things I've heard. I love it." But recording wasn't easy. "It felt like a prison.
