Ending of Women's Army Corps

As the Women's Army Corps was ending Lori's career in the military was starting. She joined the U.S. Army weeks before the Women's Army Corps disbanded. This led her to switch to the regular Army and while many things didn't change there was even more resentment towards her through out her career. She served as a truck driver and then switched to Army aviation after attending Air Traffic Control school. She shares her story in her memoir Two Week WAC written with her pename of Bea Ann Amark.
