Recalibrate? Yes. Anyone who knows me is fully aware I have a Ph.D. in feelings and I wield that superpower when I'm teaching emotional intelligence as a coach. Neuroscience research has already proven that we are not the victims of the thoughts that appear in our minds unless we decide to be. For many years I've tried many strategies for rewiring my mental maps and when I met Cindy Berry I honestly thought I was cheating. Her Emotion Code modality for recalibrating emotions involves emotional muscle testing to see where emotions have created pain or disease in our bodies. After interviewing her for this podcast, we stayed on the line and she went through 45 minutes of emotional muscle testing on me. She found incidents from ages 17, 8 and 12 (in that order) that were contributing to pain in my right knee and left shoulder. Before our session I could not sit with my right knee bent. After our session I could sit, stand and climb stairs both ways without pain. Before our session, my shoulder pain kept me from practicing any sort of push up position or bench pressing weights. After our session, I could do pushups and chaturanga without pain. I had full range of motion. Now that I have your attention, join us.
