Stopping the Systemic Silencing of Women with Gretchen Carlson

Sexual harassment is effectively an epidemic, experienced by as many as 8/10 women, but reported by only 20%. As much as workplace culture and zero-sum thinking contributes to the problem, its persistence has systemic roots in the forced arbitration agreements and NDAs that keep sexual harassment claims, and the victims themselves silenced and prone to revictimization. In this illuminating discussion, journalist Gretchen Carlson joins Laura to help us understand the danger in these mechanisms, and the steps we can all take to create a safer workplace for everyone.
