Most of the time, exercise and finding joy in movement is not a first choice of activity, but its done out of necessity, quality of life, strength, and weight loss. Starting strength training ESPECIALLY as a beginner, it can feel awkward, frustrating, and overwhelming. And, getting started is the hardest part. I can tell you these things all we want, but at the end of the day, you have to experience it for yourself, or, hear it from someone who is in a similar position as you. That's why, I decided to interview someone who I've only been training for about two months in this weeks podcast, Episode #10, A Beginners Perspective. My boyfriend Hayden, who is 37 years old, has a slightly sedentary lifestyle as a Computer Animator and just started strength training 2 months ago with World of Wellness. Truthfully, his body awareness was limited and his mechanics, choppy. But all of a sudden - things just clicked. His movements became fluid, he was getting into the flow of the workout, and really started to enjoy moving his body and seeing the benefits translate into his everyday life.In this podcast you will hear from Hayden:His experience starting a strength training programHow exercise has helped his anxiety How he's worked out with an injuryHis advice on what to expect when starting a strength training program
