In this episode of Your Mind is Trying To Kill You Podcast, Artist/Hypnotherapist, Alexandros Megas and Business Coach, Vincent Byrne discuss what it means to be a Warrior! What kind of Warrior do they mean and why use such a seemingly confrontational description? The guys discuss how the concept of a warrior in this situation is not necessarily someone who goes into battle but rather engages in the rituals and practices of someone who is prepared if needed, has developed their skills of combat, understands strategy and who cultivates fearlessness. So who or what is the enemy that needs to be overcome and vanquished? Primarily, the enemy is the self-defeating chatter that goes on in our minds, driven by our years of programming designed to keep us down and enslaved by our fears and insecurities. This enemy appears every time we decide that we are going to step forward and create something new, design something great, achieve something important or strive for something valuable. When it wins, the result is that we give up in our pursuit and go back to our limiting comfort zone and our growth is stunted. It results in a life which is not very well lived. If we decide to step forward and pursue those things, despite the gremlins bringing up those fears and attempting to undermine us, then we will build the ‘muscle’, the resilience and the resolve required which will strengthen us and teach us that we can overcome our own minds, at which time we will know that anything is possible.
