Let’s talk about perception vs reality! Sometimes people respond more to their perception of reality rather than reality ITSELF. How we see things isn’t always how they are e.g getting the wrong end of the stick. We often assume the worst. We have expectations. And if our expectations aren’t met we become disappointed. Some people take their feelings and reflect this as their current reality. But this isn’t always the case… what we need to instead is ESTABLISH THE FACTS in our lives. What is true? To get out of that victim mentality we need to ask questions inwardly and focus on what we DO want, rather than what we don’t want. As humans we often focus too much on things we don’t want, which will only bring us more of that. Rather than focusing on what we DO want, which will naturally pave the way for that to come into our lives. 💓 We expect our past to write our future but this isn’t always the case. We can re-write that. We have the choice to change our thoughts, behaviour and standards every single day. That’s something we can control. We don’t have to repeat the same patterns and cycles.
