Residents in expensive and high-tax states like New York are fleeing in droves. Thousands are moving to places like Florida, South Carolina, Delaware, Mississippi, anywhere to escape the choking personal and business costs in places like New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. In the latest census data, New York's net population loss to other US states was an astonishing 181,000 for 2018-2019.
