Yes, DEFINITELY, as long as they apply to your upcoming events. It's easy to chase numbers on a curve, but remember, that might not be a limiter; it's just that the computer algo's don't have the best input from you, the athlete. Training limiters is important, as long as they are applicable to your upcoming races! I am a statistic/number living cyclist, used to ride Cat 2 in the UK before a big crash a couple of years ago. Picked up the bike in April for the first time since the crash and did lots of Tempo and Sweetspot work (Online Plan), but I agree with you Sweetspot will only take you forward whilst getting going again but soon plateau. I worked before my crash using WKO and creating intervals based in extending/lifting the PDC which is what I will be doing this time too. Just had one quick question, do you train your limiters (For example 40-60s power) through out the season or just leave it until you move into that Block? Again thanks for the info, nice to see someone out there giving info without doing the big sell!!!
