025: Alexander Hassan - Professor of Contract Management

Today’s Giant is Alexander Hassan. He serves as the Acting Director of the Acquisition Services Divisionat Defense Acquisition University. This is a mandated certification courses required for everyone in acquisition at the federal level. Before this, in 2014, he relocated to the DC metro area and supported the program office for the F-35 engine procurements for Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) lots eight through ten, with contract awards, which were individually valued over $2 Billion.
