Recovering from eating disorders and changing the way we speak to ourselves with Emmy Brunner
Hurt to Healing: Mental Health & Wellbeing - A podcast by Pandora Morris - Tuesdays
Today, I'm joined by the wonderful Emmy Brunner. Emmy is a master of many. She's a psychotherapist, personal empowerment and transformation coach, hypnotherapist, CEO of the Recover Clinic in London and a bestselling author. As a teenager, Emmy suffered from anorexia and had a tendency to self-harm which led her into a series of abusive relationships. It was only when she had a baby that she realised something had to change. Emmy then left her partner and worked hard at improving her life for herself and her daughter, realising she'd created a valuable toolkit for herself. She decided to train as a psychotherapist and to set up The Recover Clinic. Emmy specialises in helping people recover from anxiety, eating disorders and depression. And in today's episode, we talk about how to have a better relationship with ourselves, how to break free from your own rules, and the holistic approach to treatment where we can take into account both the mind and the body. Emmy's ongoing mission is to help people live a joyful life and to overcome their limiting beliefs. I can't wait for you to listen to this incredibly powerful conversation.
