Who created the Everything Bagel, and why does anyone care? I recently came across an old New Yorker talking about how a Long Island businessman named David Gussin invented the Everything Bagel. Upon publication, there was an uproar, and several people came out to dispute David's claim. I reached out to Gussin and the people who poopooed his assertion, and much to my surprise, these wildly successful people agreed to speak with me about bagels and life.
