#92 - Are You Warming Up Right?

In this episode of the podcast we look at warm-ups. Often a lot of athletes & teams make the same mistakes when it comes to warm-ups. Doing too much or too little, not focusing on the right things as well as including exercises not that effective and where time could be better spent. We explore are warmups important in sports, what common problems do I see with field sport athletes as well as with runners when warming up, before discussing some ideas on how best to structure a warm-up. Some other topics we discussed were: - Are activation bands useful in a warm-up? - Should you be foam rolling before a training session? - What is PAP & how to use it to improve performance?
