#174 When You Don't Know How to Love Yourself

Better Than Before Breast Cancer with The Breast Cancer Recovery Coach - A podcast by Laura Lummer - Fridays

This week I had an eye-opening experience when I came across a journaling exercise that I did in 2013, the year after I finished treatment for my first breast cancer diagnosis.  It was eye-opening to see the destructive and abusive way I thought of and spoke about myself at that time.  I had a mindset then that was so full of pain and judgment that it’s hard to believe I ever found my way here.  Sadly, I know that many survivors have that same mindset now, which is why I decided to share what I wrote about myself all those years ago.  I hope that what my thoughts were then will help you see that there is hope for a brighter future wherever you are now.  You are worth love, you are deserving of happiness and joy, and you can take small steps to get there until you look back one day and, like me, you’re living a life that truly is better than before breast cancer.  Follow me on Social Media:  Facebook  Instagram  Pinterest  YouTube
