Hawaii is the only U.S. state that grows coffee, and the best is from Kona on the Big Island, home to 600 small farms (average 6 acre orchards). Scott Burr, Founder of Carta Coffee, left the wine business to buy a coffee farm. At his Nolyssa Farms, Scott's approach is hands-on to growing and roasting his beans.
