Est. 1919 by grandfather, John Mariani Sr., Banfi is sole U.S. importer of the Mariani family's renowned wine estates in Italy, Castello Banfi (Montalcino) and Vigne Regali Cellars (Piedmont) and imports many other wines. Cocktail Educator Allen Katz co-owns New York Distilling Co., makers of Dorothy Parker Gin, Perry's Tot Gin, Chief Gowanus Gin, Ragtime Rye and Mister Katz's Rock & Rye
