The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly summit on Neutralizing Workplace Racism 09/29/23. There was a robust number of reports related to LABOR this week. The so-called government shutdown forced many to focus on how they would survive if they don't receive a paycheck or if their child's daycare is closed. We also discussed a WNYC segment that details the staggering intensity of workplace racism focused specifically on black males. Greg David and Safiyah Riddle reported that black males specifically have not "bounced back" from the Covid-19 pandemic. Some callers speculated that the number of unemployed black males could be substantially larger than what's been reported because of the high number of black people who are not valued because of their status as "homeless," incarcerated, undocumented or otherwise criminal. We also make time for a privileged black transportation specialist who was nearly accused of raping a White co-worker. #KeepItProfessional #SabotageInTheWorkplace #TheCOWS14Years INVEST in The COWS – http://paypal.me/TheCOWS Cash App: https://cash.app/$TheCOWS CALL IN NUMBER: 605.313.5164 CODE: 564943#
