The C.O.W.S. Anna-Brown Griswold: "Unpacking Whiteness"

Anna-Brown Griswold, MA, LMHC visits The Context of White Supremacy. A psychotherapist and facilitator in Seattle, Mrs. Griswold has been practicing and studying the dharma for decades and uses her practice for "awakenings and social justice." Early this year, Mrs. Griswold hosted a month and a half series titled: "Unpacking Whiteness." The course was intended for people who identify as white to do work around "waking up to racism." A flier for the course asked the question: "How can folks who identify as white become more aware of internalized racism and white supremacy in ourselves and the world?" Gus asked about attending the series, but was not welcomed with open arms even though the flier explicitly stated: "No people of color who wish to participate in this series will be turned away."
