In stark contrast to the 2013 Capitol police killing of Miriam I. Carey, security was woefully inadequate. The insurgents were allowed to threaten and pillage with impunity. An police officer was killed in the melee. Numerous social media outlets are now banning Pres. Donald J. Trump for the remainder of his time in office.
