The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of words as tools to reveal truth, neutralize White people. We’ll examine news reports from the past seven days and – hopefully – promote a constructive dialog. #ANTIBLACKNESS This week marked 17 years since the September 11, 2001 attacks at the World Trade Center and Pentagon. After many allegations of deception, billions of dollars invested in military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, officials now claim they're just about out of nickels with regards to compensating First Responders and others who sacrificed their lives on the day of the attacks. Speaking of abandoning U.S. civilians, 12 years after the levee failure and Hurricane Katrina decimated the Gulf region, Hurricane Florence has already drowned North Carolina leaving hundreds of thousands without electricity.
