The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly forum on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. In between grappling with the conclusion to a tacky election season and the typical racist holidays to conclude the year, Covid-19 restrictions and infections have prompted renewed closures. Numerous businesses around the globe have been forced to close again. Restaurants are crippled, while bars, gyms and other "non-essential" establishments are forced to reduce hours or remain shuddered completely. Several C.O.W.S. listeners report having their hours reduced and/or their typical work schedule drastically altered in response to the new round of restrictions. If there's a silver lining to all this, many non-white people may escape the customary crude celebrations for "turkey day" and White Jesus's birthday. However, there may still be calls for gift exchanges and holiday gatherings up some sort via zoom. Gus would encourage skipping all virtual holiday parties as well.
