The Context of White Supremacy hosts the 5th study session on Kevin Dutton's The Wisdom of Psychopaths: Lessons in Life from Saints, Spies and Serial Killers. A research psychologist at the Department of Experimental Psychology at the University of Oxford, Dutton's specializes in persuasion and social influence, and the psychopathic personality. Dutton is a White man born in the United Kingdom. Years ago, Dr. Niyana Rasayon strongly encouraged C.O.W.S. listeners to study this book for an accurate understanding of what it means to be classified as White. The previous session discussed the notion of psychopathy increasing during the 20th and 21st century. One of the fascinating pieces of evidence to support this theory, was the increase in female criminality. Dutton also describes experiments where subjects can be given chemicals to temporarily give them the characteristics of a psychopath. Dutton seemed giddy about partaking in this study. The violence explored in this book was on display again this week with another mass shooting at a United States school.
