Mr. Shrewsberry is a former enforcement official, former certified fire and explosion investigator, and forensic investigator. He was named the 1995 Police Officer of the Year by the South Carolina Rotary Club and currently serves as executive director of The Institute for Criminal Justice Training Reform. Shrewsberry was mildly cheered when he penned a 2017 essay titled: "I Was A Racist Cop." He admits working with Race Soldiers who told racist jokes and called black people niggers while he silently co-signed this behavior.
