Here are some excuses and counters to them: It is ok to have excuses Worried about being too sore -> movement helps the soreness Work is too busy -> Schedule/prioritize sessions and exercise makes you better at work Have to watch the kids -> bring them to the lobby The weather is uncomfortable -> wear layers and we have fans Forgot your clothes -> Modify to what you are wearing Lacking Motivation -> Remember your gym friends and why you started Tired -> Make sure you slept but movement energizes you too Reasons to actually miss the gym CFO has your back and you can do this!  Hopefully, this helps you realize you can overcome your excuses.
