Crosscurrents of Musique Concrète

This episode explores the classic elements of French musique concrète and explores the innovative electronic music work being done at the GRM during the 1950 and 1960s. Among the featured works are selections by Mireille Kyrou, one of the only women composers to work at the GRM, Henri Pousseur, Pierre Henry, Bernard Parmegiani and Phillipe Carson.
