Dub Electronic

This episode features tracks representing the development of dub music in the 1970s and 1980s. Originally created as instrumental tracks pulled from other Jamaican reggae hits, dub evolved into a genre of its own in which the mixing console and sound editing became ”instruments” in the hands of producers, engineers, and mixers.
