Dr Disrespect (real name is Guy Beahm) Twitch Following - 4.4m Subs - 21k 28k concurrent viewers First Streamer to hit 1 Million Followers Esports Awards 2017 Streamer of the Year In Late 2017 Doc admitted to cheating on his wife and in response chose to take a break from streaming to focus on his family According to information discussed in a RollingStones interview in 2018 Doc’s family net worth was estimated around 3.5m In June 2019 while live streaming at popular technology convention e3 DrDisrespect walked into a restroom. Twitch banned Doc for 2 weeks following this law breaking incident On March 5th, 2020 DrDisrespect announced to his fans that he had brokered a multimillion dollar multi year extension to stream exclusively on Twitch A different Twitch Streamer known as Pokimane signed an exclusivity contract with Twitch at the same time reportedly worth around 4.5million per year On June 25, 2020 Rumors began to circulate claiming Doc was permanently banned from streaming on Twitch. Twitch's official statement on the ban said "As is our process, we take appropriate action when we have evidence that a streamer has acted in violation of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. These apply to all streamers regardless of status or prominence in the community" Most Recent Update - As of June 27th Twitch has not informed Doc of the reason for his ban. On July 6th DrDisrespect potentially donated $50 to NickMercs, another popular Twitch Streamer and close friend of Doc. In the Donation Doc claims he was the scapegoat of Twitch. Theories: On June 24th years of accusations were gathered together and Twitch CEO Emmet Sheer was called out from a long history of ignoring sexual abuse claims, harrasment claims, and rasicm claims on the platform.
