We often find that worry comes from thoughts on the future and it's not different in life as it is in sports. The uncertainty of the future can make us worry and we are all feeling that right now with the Corona Lockdown. What I wanted to share in this Positive Podcast episode is some of the things we use in sports from a mindset and sports psychology perspective to help athletes control their fear and worry about the future so they can perform at their best. I hope by sharing some of the practical things I've done with athletes and used myself during my playing days, although sporting related, can be useful for you if you're worrying about the future right now and want some 'hacks' on how to stay present and focus on whats important right now.
