#11 - Moon Time - Navigating the Full Moon

The Process Podcast - A podcast by Danielle Copperman

This week I wanted to share a short episode on the moon; specifically the full moon as it is coming up this weekend on February 27th. The moon cycles and the phases of lunar calendar are something that have interested me for a while now, and I first started learning about them a few years ago when I began my journey into wellbeing and holistic living. The moon govern a lot with their gravitational pull, one example being the tides, but beyond affecting things environmentally, they also have an affect on animals and humans, mentally, physically and emotionally. It's a really intricate system and one that I feel there is always more to learn about. There are, as with most things in wellness, many varying factors, but in this episode I share a simple and general approach to how the moon works and how it might affect us at different times of the month, and why.  I also share some advice and a few tips on how to navigate the time leading up to and during the full moon, as well as a few simple rituals which can be supportive and nourishing, too. More than anything, this episode is intended to offer an insight to the idea of how so much going on around us and outside of us can dictate and determine how we look, think, feel and act, from one day to the next. It's not that black and white, and this idea should be taking with a pinch of salt and explored further, but it is something that has personally been really eye opening for me, and as helped me to gain deeper understanding of how things work, how I work, and how we are all part of something much bigger than just ourselves; a powerful and magical collective that can't always be understood or explained with words.
