Ep 2 - Ellis Miah - Song Writer/Producer

Episode 2 - This week my guest is Song Writer and Producer Ellis Miah from sunny Los Angeles. Ellis co-wrote "Inner Child" for BTS’s album Map of the Soul: 7.  The album was released on lock down it went to number 1 in over 80 Countries. The Album had 4 million pre-orders worldwide and Inner Child has had over 50 million plays on spotify to date. BTS became the first Asian group to top the album charts in the top five music markets in the world—the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, and France. We have not had this phenomenon in the Music industry since the Beatles! Ellis is a Native new Yorker and now LA based Songwriter, producer and re-mixer. Ellis joins us this week from sunny Los Angeles on a break while he is recording in the studio. Ellis has collaborated on hits for artists including Jennifer Lopez, Sia, Backstreet Boys, Christina Aguilera, Miley Cyrus, Annie Lennox, Loleatta Holloway, Yoko Ono and Sieeedah Garrett, to name a few! Ellis has a gift for combining Pop, Soul, Hip-Hop and Dance that has given him success 22 times on the Billboard chats. He has toured internationally, securing many national TV sync placements including one of my favs Sex and the City. Ellis has written and produced the majority of the songs on RuPaul’s Christmas Album, “Slay Belles,” which was voted Best Christmas Album by Entertainment Weekly. During our chat, we reflected on those things that make you successful, the challenging times, his favourite Dr. Who, all things Money and how we can survive in these challenging times.
