Welcome to Season 2 of the Love Live Music Secrets of Success Podcast. This Season we are "On Tour around the UK interviewing the movers and shakers of the music industry". In this Podcast we will be chatting with the super successful people who make the music industry tick. We will be picking their brains, extracting their secrets for success and listening to their reflections on their careers and the past year. My name is Sally Jackson Freeman and I have been working in the music industry since the 80’s. I started out as a runner in my Dad’s recording studio working with such iconic bands as Motorhead and have just completed a 10 year stint at Glastonbury in the Dance Field working with artists such as Stormzy, Dua Lipa, Fatboy Slim and Craig David. Recently, I have been a Masters Lecturer at Tileyard Education and, BIMM. I have had the privilege to mentor the next generation of music industry professionals around the world with Tileyard, BIMM & SheSaid.So Over the past 30 plus years in the music business I have pretty much seen and heard it all, the good, the bad and the ugly…. The one thing I know beyond doubt, is that behind every superstar, is a huge team of highly successful and talented individuals who help the artists realise and monetise their talent. I am interested in what makes these people successful and the journey’s they have been on to achieve their success. This podcast is dedicated to finding out what makes these people so successful and sharing their insider knowledge and tips with you.
